Valentine's Celebrations

Jackson's class had their Valentine's Day party on Friday. During the day the kiddos exchanged valentines by putting them in the specially decorated boxes the teachers made for each one. All the kiddos enjoyed a special snack and then spent some time entertaining us as they danced to their favorite songs. Jackson loved the party if you can't tell...

Barbara, Heath, and Carter also gave Jackson and us a bag of goodies while they were here on Valentine's Day. That afternoon Jackson made his own special card for Dada, which he was able to give him today! That's right...Ross is finally home, and we are SO excited!

More Fun!

Another fun day for Jackson and Carter. They had more fun playing together first thing this morning and even gave each other a very sweet hug.

Then we made our way to the park to enjoy the beautiful weather. Because it's been raining all week, there weren't a lot of kids at the park, so both Jackson and Carter had fun running all over the park, sliding down slides, and of course, Jackson spent a lot of time on the swings.

Heath, Barbara, and Carter made there way home this afternoon, and we are already missing them. Fortunately, Ross will be home tomorrow! We can't wait to see him!!!

Best Buds!

Heath, Barbara, and Carter are here visiting for the weekend, and it's the first time Jackson has been old enough to really play with Carter. They have had a blast! It started when they woke up this morning since JD was asleep when they got to town last night. Here are the two enjoying breakfast together.

Then they spent some time checking out the toys in their PJs. Jackson dumped his milk on himself during breakfast...therfore, no pants.

After getting dressed, we made our way to the Children's Museum. Carter was styling in his blazer, and both boys enjoyed a snack on the way there.

Jackson loves his Aunt Barbara and Uncle Heath if you can't tell from these pics.

But I think his new best friend is Carter!

Mitchell's Baby Shower

While we were all in Leakey, I helped host a baby shower honoring Leslie and Mitchell along with friends, Jessica and Dianne. If you couldn't guess based on the previous post, the theme was Caterpillar. We used lots of toy CAT equipment and black and yellow decorations. There was a great turn out, and Leslie and Mitchell got lots of great things. Here are a couple of pics. There are more in the album.

While we were busy partying, the boys took another trip around the ranch. This time Jackson got to ride with Grandad!

Christmas at Home

We had Christmas at home today, and it was a great day. We started by going to church, enjoying the praise and worship and message, and visiting with friends. After lunch and Jackson's nap, our Christmas celebration at home began. Here are some of the highlights, but there are more in the album.

Jackson had fun stacking his new blocks.

Then he helped everyone else go through their stockings.

He eventually opened a Mr. Potato Head, and had lots of fun studying it and figuring out what to do...

His favorite gift was definitely the bubble machine! Although, we had no idea how quickly it would go through a bottle of bubbles. We already need a refill!

We spent the rest of the day playing with all of our new toys and hanging out at the park. Today contained bits and pieces of all the important things in our lives: God, family, friends, and fun! We couldn't have hoped for a better day!

Quasny's Boat Reception

The celebration of Todd and Heather's wedding took place this afternoon on a beautiful boat. Our baby sitter had to cancel at the last minute, so Ross ended up having to stay home with Jackson. It was a beautiful day, so they enjoyed some time playing outside and at the park.

I got to be part of the festivities and take more pictures for the happy couple. They had a great turn out, which just shows how much they are cared about and appreciated!

They had all of the traditional wedding reception moments. They cut the cake, which was both beautiful and delicious! It was made by a Flight Director we work with, Ginger.

They toasted, which was unique because they decided to toast their guests instead of having the guests toast them.

They had their first dance and also danced with their parents.
